The Relevant Sales Process

So you’re interested in our private equity solutions… how can we help?

We’re happy to answer your questions, and we welcome the opportunity to learn about your business and operations. This mutual exchange of information and due diligence process helps us both succeed and ensures Relevant’s products are right for your business.

At the end of the day, we encourage you to drive the sales process. We want you to feel that you’ve covered all the bases and made an informed decision about your private equity solution.

 

Information Gathering

Tell us about your business, operations, and specific objectives for evaluating private equity systems.

We need some upfront time to make sure we understand your business and objectives. Of critical importance are the “pain” points that have prompted you to undertake your search. We’ll also discuss high-level information such as your type of firm, number of funds and limited partners, AUM, staff size, along with your current process and technology situation… just to name a few.
Receive a demonstration of Relevant EquityWorks. In the first of a series of demonstrations, we provide an overview of EquityWorks’ core features and benefits, and can tailor the demonstration based on your business and operational goals. Upon request, we’ll also provide an estimated price proposal.
Detailed Evaluation
Schedule additional demonstration(s), discuss implementation issues, and review key areas of concern. We’ll demonstrate specific areas of Relevant EquityWorks for all your key staff (e.g., finance team, general partners, deal team, investor relations, etc.) and entertain their questions. We’ll also discuss our implementation process and how we can best work together for a smooth installation. And, of course, we’ll review key areas of concern you may have by working through scenarios with your team.
Request a Proposal 
Obtain and review a price quote. We’ll discuss the right configuration of licenses for your firm and provide a quote estimating your project costs. Relevant EquityWorks licenses are concurrent, so you only have to purchase licenses for the number of users that will be logged on at any given time.
Speak with client references. We’ll provide references that are most similar to your business and who have comparable goals. Typically, we provide you with both a fairly new as well as a veteran client reference.
Select Vendor of Choice
Review software license agreement and order form. We provide these for your review and are always available to answer any questions you have.
Attend Kickoff Meeting. Our complete teams will conduct a conference call to plan your implementation, including conversion of your legacy data and onsite training.
